SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP that generates income for financial sustainability, offers employment in rural areas, including for vulnerable groups and supports local small farmers. Host families produce jams, pickled vegetables, handicrafts and sell them to guests and participants of the courses. All profit generated through EcoVillage Moldova services is reinvested into community development projects in Riscova and the region.
INITIATIVES for local & regional development, such as selective waste management, tree planting, marked forest/ bike trails, Horse Sanctuary, school gardens, Potato Festivals, partnerships between neighbouring villages, etc.
