Recently we organized a focus group discussion with professional trainers to help us start designing a center dedicated to training. We wanted to get their advice about how to create a space that is conducive to learning, growing and performing. We looked at training spaces from different perspectives: participants' experiences, trainer's needs, multi-functionality and efficiency. We explored how various design elements, like light, color, texture, scale and acoustics, influence effectiveness of training.

The collected ideas will further be distilled and prioritized by our architect, who helped facilitate this focus group discussion. Next month we plan to meet with our eco-village team to review some of the schemes that the architects are preparing based on the feedback received. The following presentation provides more details about our focus group discussion.
